I became an honorary Gin Rectifier last night (May 9). I took an oath and now I am duty bound to promote the best interests of gin.
The bars are in the beach area of the ship’s sun deck on either side of the pool. The Havana Club bar will serve classic Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos, Cuba Libres and Daiquiris, while the Malibu bar will offer Piña Coladas and Summer Breezes.
The bars’ launch party in June saw top Swedish hip-hop DJ Uncle Eric host a live event onboard featuring Latin music and branded salsa dancers.
Pernod Ricard Denmark’s brand ambassador, white spirits, Morten Schønning trained Birka Paradise’s bartenders ahead of the opening of the two bars. Future parties will follow a similar format to the launch event.
