Scotland/US: Innis & Gunn brewery is to launch its beer in the US.
The Edinburgh-based company has made two new appointments – a UK marketing manager and an International brand manager.
The current Canada-based manager will take up a new role of the same title in the US.
Gregg Imlah has been appointed Innis & Gunn’s marketing manager in the UK. Nicol Rennie will be international brand manager in Canada, replacing Innis & Gunn MD Dougal Sharp’s younger brother Neil who will be moving to take up the post in the US.
Dougal Sharp said: “The US presents a big opportunity for the brand. Although it is in recession this won’t last forever and we want to be there when business starts to pick up.”
Four years after Innis & Gunn Original Oak Aged Beer first entered the Canadian market, it has become Canada’s best selling British bottled beer in both value and sales.
