The war in Ukraine has dealt another blow to brandy producer Aznauri, destroying approximately 8,000 square metres of warehouse space for the second time in a year.

On 22 September 2026, an attack destroyed Global Beverage Trade’s main distribution centre in the Odesa region, where products from Aznauri were stored.

The attack and subsequent large-scale fire destroyed warehouse space, together with a significant volume of finished goods.

The company confirmed there were no human injuries as a result.

In September 2025, a large-scale attack caused extensive damage to Aznauri’s production facilities in Ukraine, where Aznauri brandy was produced for the Ukrainian market.

Despite the scale of the destruction, the company successfully restored production operations and maintained Aznauri’s presence on the Ukrainian market.

Almost one year later, Global Beverage Trade has again been affected by an attack, saying sufficient stocks of Aznauri’s core products have been secured and supplies to the Ukrainian market continue.

In the 2026 edition of The Millionaires’ Club, Aznauri sales reached 1.9 million nine-litre cases in 2025, representing growth of 18.8%.

“Over the years, the brand has built a high level of consumer trust and a strong connection with its audience. Strength, resilience and the determination to keep moving forward despite adversity have long been part of Aznauri’s identity – values that have taken on particular significance as the brand faces another major challenge,” the company said in a statement.

Despite the latest attack, Global Beverage Trade continues to operate, as its strategic plans for further development of Aznauri and the company’s other key brands remain unchanged.
