The 125th anniversary bottle – which was designed by the US-born, Dominican Republic-descended street artist Jonone (John Andrew Perello) – is priced at €40, or equivalent, and is limited to 30,000 globally.
Matthieu de Lassus, export director of Rhum Clément, told Drinks International that the Clément Foundation supports Caribbean cultural arts and heritage and that the bottle communicates the Martinique rum brand’s values of tradition and modernity.
Rhum Clément produces around 100,000 9-litre cases and is distributed in 60 countries worldwide. Its top market is France.
