The outlet, designed by Bloommiami, is the first of its kind in both The Americas and Miami International Airport and Diageo says it offers a luxurious interactive shopping experience.
The 1,145sqft store features a Johnnie Walker variant exhibition which showcases the latest products from the brand as well as offering personalisation and gifting opportunities such as customised labelling and engraving services.
Dayalan Nayager, managing director, Diageo Global Travel, said: “Miami International Airport is the largest gateway between the United States and Latin America with over 21m passengers travelling through it last year alone.
“This has made it a vital place for the super deluxe Scotch whisky category and therefore the ideal location for the opening of this luxury Johnnie Walker store. Designed to educate and inspire travellers, this store offers an interactive shopping experience that explores the history and pioneering spirit of this much-loved brand.”
As well as buying products, customers will be able to have a tasting experience at the store’s own whisky bar and aside from Johnnie Walker, the store will also offer a range of Scotch whiskies for consumers to discover such as The Singleton, Talisker, Oban and Lagavulin.
The Johnnie Walker store is now open to travellers to enjoy in Miami International Airport’s North Terminal, located in concourse D near Gate D14.
