Limited edition birthday brew to be auctioned for Adnams Community Trust

12 December, 2016

Adnams is putting a limited edition brew to celebrate chairman Jonathan Adnams’ 60th birthday up for auction today.

Six bottles of the beer, that aren’t availably publically, will be auctioned for the Adnams Community Trust.

The 5.5% abv conditioned pale ale has been brewed with East Anglian pale ale malt and rye grown from Jonathan Adnam’s Rye fields.

The bottles will be auctioned individually via a 24 hour open auction from midday today on Twitter. Bidders must tweet their bid to @Adnams followed by the hashtag #AdnamsAuction.

The top six bidders will be given the opportunity to own one 500ml bottle of j.P.A. Multiple bids from the same bidder will count towards the draw individually.

The Adnams Community Trust was founded in 1990 to celebrate Adnams' centenary as a public company. The Trust awards grants to worthy causes within 25 miles of Southwold or, in the case of national charities, exclusively for the benefit of those living within 25 miles of Southwold.
