Global Brands has a new look for its Amigos tequila beer (50cl, 5.1% abv).

Senior brand manager Christian Sarginson, said: “The new visual identity is a chance for Amigos to really connect with its audience. The change is designed to articulate the vibrant zing of limes and the Mexican taste of tequila. With a bright colour palette and nods to street art and Latin culture, the identity update is a statement of intent for where we plan to take the brand in 2017 with our #StreetCerveza campaign.”

Talking the challenges of cocktail weeks

Having recently returned from the US visiting both Oakland and Arizona Cocktail Weeks I was amazed by the differences in approach. In Oakland there was a much bigger trade focus and it felt more relaxed, whereas in Arizona it was one massive party for consumers.
