06 October, 2011

Gallo Family Vineyards has announced a partnership to launch the world’s first-ever scented nail wrap.

The nail wrap has been scented with the plum, blueberry and cranberry aromas which are apparently found in Gallo’s new Merlot Rosé

It will be available to purchase exclusively from: sphinxnailwraps.co.uk.

The company says the limited edition nail wraps have been created to support the launch of Gallo Merlot Rosé and engage with a female target market.

Nail wraps by Gallo Family Vineyards come in a variety of pink shades, when the surface of the pink patterned nail is lightly rubbed a fruity fragrance of plum, blueberry and cranberry is released.

Senior Marketing manager for Gallo Family Vineyards, Olga Senkina, said: "Nail wraps are the latest craze to hit the beauty industry. By producing the first ever scented version we have created an innovative marketing vehicle that will allow us to engage with women outside of the wine isle, ensuring maximum visibility for the brand and ultimately driving sales."

Launched in April this year, Gallo Merlot Rosé is a light-bodied wine that has a lower alcohol content of 9.5% abv.
