BBRS launches global competition to find Glenrothes whisky maker for a week

25 August, 2010

The premium spirits division of Berry Bros & Rudd has announced an international competition to find four consumers who will be The Glenrothes Whisky Maker for a week.

The successful candidates will be recruited to work as ‘The Glenrothes Whisky Makers’ in Speyside, probably the most prestigious region for scotch whisky.

Entrants will be required to supply their name and personal details and then be invited to answer in 50 words or fewer why they are the perfect candidate for the job. Hundreds of runners-up prizes will be offered too. Entries will be accepted in English, Spanish and Chinese.

The competition will run from October until the end of January 2011. For more details: www.theglenrothes.com.
