Heineken announces distribution plans for Sol and Dos Equis

Heineken NV has announced an agreement with Molson Coors over the distribution in the UK of the former FEMSA beer brands, Sol and Dos Equis.

From September 30 Heineken UK will take over order capture of Sol and Dos Equis and from October 4, it will look after sales and distribution.

The global Dutch-based brewer completed the acquisition of Formento Económico Mexicano SAB de CV (FEMSA) in April. It is now instigating integration plans across all markets where FEMSA brands are distributed.
