Only about 8% of wine farms in South Africa make money, according to a leading winemaker from the Rainbow Nation

Kleine Zalze said the South African winemaking industry is “as vibrant as any” and the “sky is the limit” in terms of quality. 

Stellenbosch winery, Kleine Zalze, has announced the appointment of Nitida Wines’ RJ Botha, to its winemaking team.

South African wine estate Kleine Zalze has signalled its intention to target the independent retailing channel in the UK by moving its entire portfolio of wines to Hatch Mansfield.
