Italy: Cavit appoints new general manager
Published:  24 June, 2009

Italian producer Cavit has announced the appointment of Enrico Zanoni to the position of general manager, effective July 1.

Zanoni joins from export-focused Illva Spa Wine & Spirits, known for its Amaretto di Saronno brand.  As general manager, he was responsible for the company’s international interests and the development of its export markets.
Cavit’s board of directors selected Enrico Zanoni for job, as they feel his previous experience will be beneficial to the company’s export-led focus.
Cavit is a co-operative producer representing more than 4,500 growers and over 5,700 hectares of vineyards. Via its growers Cavit handles approximately 65% of the total wine production in Trentino.
