UK: Wolf Blass wine announces cricket tie-up

UK: Australian wine brand Wolf Blass has announced cricket sponsorship for summer 2009.

The partnership with Five TV includes the nPower Ashes series and the West Indies’ team tour of England.

 

From the beginning of May to the end of September, Five will air 45, 45 minute cricket highlight programmes, where Wolf Blass has sponsorship accreditation including integrated opening and closing titles, 10 second bumpers and a logo featured on all on-air promotions for the cricket highlight programmes.

 

The Wolf Blass advertising creative will be titled ‘Vintage Performance’ and focuses on the Yellow Label range, including the Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and a new addition to the range, Yellow Label Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay.

Annabel Keech, Wolf Blass senior brand manager, said: “Our Five sponsorship will form part of an integrated campaign for Wolf Blass around cricket this summer and will reach around 14million viewers.”
