US: William Grant & Sons has appointed the Charmer Sunbelt Group (CSG) to distribute Stolichnaya vodka in New York, Delaware, Maryland, The District of Columbia, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and Colorado. In addition, the entire William Grant portfolio, including Stolichnaya, will be moved to CSG’s operations in Pennsylvania. CSG CEO Chris Merinoff said: “By aligning with us in such a significant way, William Grant has demonstrated a strong confidence in our people, capabilities, and in our ability to execute their goals consistently across our multiple markets.” The appointment of Charmer Sunbelt Group is part of a distribution plan for Stolichnaya that results in the brand moving from its current distributors in 16 markets to those selected by William Grant & Sons USA. Simon Hunt, president, William Grant & Sons USA said: “We are dedicated to returning the iconic brand of Stolichnaya back to growth and establishing this distributor network is the first step along that path.”
