Chaliť Richards has been appointed to distribute Vida Nova and Onda Nova.The agreement covers the UK and selected international markets - including Eastern Europe and China, and is effective immediately.

†Chaliť Richards managing director Bob Rishworth said: ĒI have generally dismissed celebrity wines as being a marketing gimmick, but having tasted the Vida Nova and Onda Nova range I can honestly say that I was bowled over by the quality.Ē

The wine is made at the Adega do Cantor (winery of the singer) at Guia in the Algarve, and is a joint venture between three vineyard owners, Sir Cliff Richard, Max Birch the winemaker, and Nigel Birch.

The range consists of Vida Nova and Onda Nova.Vida Nova has an RRP of £7.49 and is available as a Tinto with AragonÍs, Syrah, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet, as a Rosť with AragonÍs and a touch of Syrah, and as a Reserva Syrah AragonÍs blend at £10.99.Onda Nova is available as a Rosť with AragonÍs, and as a Tinto with Syrah, and has an RRP of £7.99.The range is targeted at independent and multiple on trade and selected off trade outlets.
