Robert Mondavi announces Wine Future sponsorship

Robert Mondavi winery is to sponsor the Wine Future event in Logrono, Spain on November 12 and 13.

Created by the Wine Academy of Spain, Wine Future-Rioja 09 assembles influential wine industry personalities from around the globe to engage, discuss and address issues affecting the industry.  This year’s topics include the economic crisis, trends in consumptions and sales as well as climate change, packaging and branding.

Troy Christensen, president of Constellation Australia and Europe will be one of the guest speakers alongside the influential Robert Parker, writer Jancis Robinson and Dan Jago, director of wines for Tesco.

Troy Christensen said: “Wine Future gives producers, retailers and key influencers in the wine industry the unique opportunity to come together in one forum to discuss the most important issues affecting our industry today.  I’m delighted to be representing Constellation at this global industry event.”

Constellation acquired the Robert Mondavi brand in 2004.
