González Byass has appointed Enrique Murillo, currently the company’s international business director, as its new general manager.

Murillo joined González Byass in 2011 as finance director before being named CEO of Pedro Domecq Mexico, a González Byass Group company, in 2017.

In 2021, he was appointed deputy general manager of González Byass S.A., and subsequently appointed general manager of González Byass’ joint venture with Grupo Emperador, covering the Bodega Las Copas S.L. and Domecq Bodega Las Copas S.L. business lines. 

In January 2023, Murillo became general manager of the Americas Division and, in July 2025, was appointed as international business director.

The new appointment will take effect on 15 November, as Murillo succeeds César Sánchez Moral.
