The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands awards ceremony to launch in 2019

Drinks International has announced the inaugural World’s Most Admired Wine Brands awards ceremony, which will take place during Prowein 2019.

The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Sunday March 17, 2019, in partnership with Wine Intelligence and will be a first for the respected survey and a fitting showcase for global wine brands and their producers.

Drinks International editor Christian Davis, said: “After seven successful years of running The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands survey – and now with market research specialists Wine Intelligence on board to add their expertise, we want to bring the global wine industry together for a highly anticipated awards evening.

“Prowein is now the world’s leading trade fair for wine. So, it is fitting to launch our awards ceremony around this key event in the wine calendar. Every major wine producer and brand owner travels to Dusseldorf for this key trading week.”

The Academy of judges which comprises of retail wine buyers, Masters of Wine, F&B buyers and specialist wine writers, will be invited to celebrate the announcement of the 50 most admired wine brands in the world, alongside the brand owners themselves.
