Champagne Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs en Magnum (12.5% abv) is new from Shawn Carter. The 100% Chardonnay cuvée is made with fruit sourced from both the traditional Chardonnay territory, the Côte des Blancs, and from Montagne de Reims. The resulting Blanc de Blancs is said to have a powerful acidity and lightness, elegantly balanced with suppleness and roundness.

The winemakers chose to set aside a small quantity in a larger format bottle, to study its development and aging. The Blanc de Blancs en Magnum rested for seven years on lees in the cellars in Champagne, and for an additional year on cork.

Tasting note: Creamy, complex and long, the palate shows complex layers of honey, orange blossom, apricot, pineapple and raisins. The bead is delicate and finish very long.
