Darnley’s View Gin is a five times distilled small batch London Dry gin, distilled in London and bottled in Scotland.
The 42.7% gin, which is priced at £28.99/€18-25, is made with 10 botanicals.
They comprise: juniper, cinnamon, nutmeg, cassia, grains of paradise, ginger, cumin, cloves, coriander seed and angelica root.
It is described as full and rounded with cinnamon and nutmeg coming through strongly and juniper developing gently.
The name Darnley’s View celebrates the meeting of Mary Queen of Scots and her husband Lord Darnley at Wemyss Castle in 1565.
