Henkell acquires Cavas Hill

Henkell & Co Sektkellerei has acquired cava producer Cavas Hill.

Cavas Hill produces two million bottles of cava and wine annually and it is based in Moja, Alt Penedès.

The takeover is effective immediately and financial details were not disclosed.

Henkell & Co will assume the company site, as well as all of the company’s employees and brands.

Cavas Hill is active both in the Spanish market and as an exporter and Henkell & Co will incorporate sales of Cavas Hill brands into its own international sales network.

Henkell & Co is now present in 18 countries and exports to more than 70. Its portfolio includes wine, sparkling wine and spirits.
