I became an honorary Gin Rectifier last night (May 9). I took an oath and now I am duty bound to promote the best interests of gin.
According to the Stockholm-based Lagena, the deal covers “the management of complex product flows from Pernod Ricard’s global production sites to Sweden, with subsequent redistribution from Sweden across Europe”.
Mats Eriksson, customer service director for Absolut said: “Lagena will provide us with a unique logistics solution, for which we needed a specialist."
Absolut previously worked with Lagena’s parent company, global logistics specialist JF Hillebrand, for its international export shipping.
Per Öhagen, managing director of Lagena, said: “It is truly inspiring to have the confidence to deal with this critical and challenging distribution network, where both creativity and delivery are crucial properties.”
