In an open letter, leading London bar operator Tony Conigliaro has criticised Bacardi’s Martini for piggybacking his Bar Termini Milano-Torino charity bike ride and creating its own.

Martini has invested approximately €10m on broadcast, print and digital marketing with a re-tweak of its design in the works. 

Martini has announced that the brand is to sponsor Vector, the British powerboat racing team and global manufacturer of high performance powerboats and performance yachts.

Bacardi Martini has announced the re-launching of its Martini Bitter which it says is the original bitter aperitif.
