Canada: Corby Distilleries appoints new CFO as the former leaves to head up Pernod Korea. The Canadian representation of Pernod Ricard’s portfolio has announced that chief financial officer and chief operating officer John Nicodemo will leave Corby on June 30, 2009, to assume the role of chief operating officer of Pernod Ricard Korea.

Thierry Pourchet has been appointed as his successor as vice-president and chief financial officer of Corby effective August 1, 2009. Pourchet will also be a director.

Pernod Ricard S.A. indirectly owns in excess of 50% of Corby's issued and outstanding voting common shares.

Prior to joining Corby, Pourchet served as chief operating officer of Malibu-Kahlúa International, one of Pernod Ricard's brand owning companies based in New York.
